Dance HUB

Students at Dance HUB will be able to take daily technique and creative classes, work with international artists weekly to learn new choreography, attend dance performances, and immerse themselves in vibrant Italian culture. Students who are interested in choreographing have the opportunity to apply for ChoreoLAB, where they will be able to create work on their fellow peers in the program and collaborate with students in Music HUB on an original score for the piece.

After spending one week soaking up the rich history of Florence, the group will travel together down to the city of Agropoli on the Cilento Coast. The final two weeks of the intensive will be hosted by ExOrto Danza, directed by choreographer Piero Leccese. His dance school is dedicated to all artistic expressions. A center for training, promotion and support of theater, dance, and movement; it shares WADE's focus on collaboration and artistic experimentation. 

The final performance of the intensive will take place in the town's breathtaking Medieval Castle as part of the Agropoli Danza Festival. The dancers will perform original choreographies created during the three week residencies by the guest artists, student choreographers, and by artistic director Giada Matteini.
