Music HUB
Music HUB is a program running in collaboration with the Dance HUB and designed for musicians interested in pursuing a career as dance accompanists.
The program is subdivided into three main sections:
Accompaniment: teaches the basics of dance accompaniment by observing/co-playing dance classes played by the music mentors and by attending lectures in various subjects related to dance accompaniment;
Composition: explores composition in relation to movement and pairs one musician with a student choreographer in the ChoreoLAB program;
Performance: several performance opportunities are offered to the music students while in residency in Italy, both in collaboration with the dancers and on their own.
